About Paperless VA

Paperless VA was established in January 2013 by Linda Hansen, and has been providing remote bookkeeping, payroll and back office services to clients ever since.

 

We provide complete, accurate, individualized bookkeeping, payroll and financial services to individuals and small companies. Our specialty is getting bookkeeping set up (or cleaned up) for new businesses and providing a customized monthly service to ensure books are ready for tax time.

 

We ensure clients have 24/7 access to accurate financial information and shared files protected with bank-level encryption.

 

Our goal is to help clients "free up time to do what they do best". Outsourcing financial record keeping frees up owners to engage more with customers and focus on business growth and development, based on sound financial data.

 

Paperless VA works closely with your CPA or other Tax Professional and provides all necessary year-end tax reports. If you need a referral for a tax professional, we work with a great CPA firm (located in San Francisco, CA) that can assist you with developing a tax strategy and filing income taxes.

Linda Hansen, about me...

 

My husband, Dan, and I established an off-grid homestead located on the "Lost Coast" of Northern California in 2010. We're nearly 2 hours from the nearest large city.

 

We enjoy the outdoors and live near the Mattole River and the Pacific coast, surrounded by dense forests and amazing views. We love the challenges of maintaining off-grid water and solar power systems, caring for our many animals, composting, gardening, and preserving what we harvest.​

Professionally, I have 10+ years of owning and managing my bookkeeping firm, Paperless VA. I have over 20 years of corporate bookkeeping, budgeting, HR management and payroll experience.

 

I am a Certified Quickbooks Online Pro-Advisor, Xero Accounting advisor, and Gusto Payroll partner. I also have extensive experience in Project Management, Social Media Marketing, and Website Design and Development.

 

I love my job, my home, and I'm passionate about my office being environmentally sustainable. We are nearly paperless, and powered by the sun!
